From September 23 to 25, our delegation visited the European Parliament. During these days, we had important meetings with MEPs: we discussed new research, our petition, the upcoming conference and exhibition at the European Parliament, as well as local cooperation.
We particularly appreciate that each of the MEPs expressed their support for United Women's activities and their willingness to work together to implement our ideas. This means that the voice of Ukrainian women in Europe is becoming even louder.
We would like to highlight the speech given by our co-founder Anastasia Petrenko at the Global Women’s Peace Network: Women, Peace, and Security forum. The topic of her speech was “The role of women in creating a safe and supportive educational environment.” Anastasia spoke about the important role of women and the community in the education and integration of children. Her words resonated with the audience and organizers, and we received an invitation to the next forum.
We are the voice of Ukrainian women. Together, we are creating an environment where life in Europe is safer, more stable, and full of opportunities 💙
