Within the framework of the International Forum United Women "Women's Alliance Without Borders," which took place on September 21 in Sofia, an international action "Minute of Peace" was launched.

The goal of the action is to draw the attention of the global public to the necessity of peace and mutual support, especially for Ukrainian children. We believe that everyone can contribute to creating a peaceful future!

How it was:

150 Ukrainian children from the "Intellect" schools, "EU School," Ukrainian Hub Sofia, and other educational institutions received gifts from United Women and forum participants.

Children and adults together released blue balloons into the sky, making a shared wish for peace to come to Ukraine as soon as possible.

This symbolic gesture united all participants in the aspiration for peace and demonstrated support for children who especially need it in difficult times.
