On December 24, a warm and joyful New Year's celebration for Ukrainian children attending kindergarten and art studios took place in Varna, Golden Sands.
This event was made possible thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian women who are under temporary protection in Bulgaria, as well as United Women Ambassador Olena Nikolayenko and members of the initiative, Oksana Bratko and Olga Lyashchenko.
At the party, 25 children received gifts, smiles and incredible emotions.
A little bit about the Ukrainian community in Zoloti Pisky: Currently, more than 600 Ukrainian children are staying in local hotels.
- Some of them attend Bulgarian schools and kindergartens.
- Others study online at Ukrainian schools.
- Many children attend the local HAB, where Ukrainian tutors and teachers support learning and development in their native traditions.
Together we continue to preserve our culture, create holidays for children and support those who need it most.
