On September 18 in Istanbul, the “Voices of Women” roundtable gathered Ukrainian women from business, government, civil society, and international organizations. The meeting was held at InterContinental Istanbul on the initiative of United Women (UW).
The event unfolded in a warm, content-rich atmosphere:
Most importantly, we agreed to move forward together—to support one another, create new opportunities, and amplify the voice of Ukrainian women worldwide.
Anastasiia Petrenko, co-founder of United Women, delivered an inspiring talk outlining UW’s work that already supports Ukrainian women across Europe—psychologically, legally, and humanitarily—and highlighted priorities ahead: scaling UW clubs, mentorship programs, and partnerships with business and institutions.
Heartfelt thanks to Alina Aumi and Anastasiia Ozdemir for organizational support—your contribution made the event so warm and meaningful. Thanks to all participants for your openness, energy, and readiness to build joint solutions.
Coming up—new meetings, projects, and activities in Istanbul and beyond: career tracks, mentorship, networking, and psychological support groups to further unite Ukrainian women worldwide.
