Istanbul: “Voices of Women” Roundtable by United Women
On September 18 in Istanbul, the “Voices of Women” roundtable gathered Ukrainian women from business, government, civil society, and international organizations. The meeting was held at InterContinental Istanbul on the initiative of United Women (UW).
Atmosphere & key topics
The event unfolded in a warm, content-rich atmosphere:
- sharing challenges and wins, practical cases of adaptation and growth abroad;
- shaping joint solutions and partnership agreements;
- discussing business and career development, social and psychological support, education and mentorship opportunities outside Ukraine.
Most importantly, we agreed to move forward together—to support one another, create new opportunities, and amplify the voice of Ukrainian women worldwide.
Address by United Women co-founder
Anastasiia Petrenko, co-founder of United Women, delivered an inspiring talk outlining UW’s work that already supports Ukrainian women across Europe—psychologically, legally, and humanitarily—and highlighted priorities ahead: scaling UW clubs, mentorship programs, and partnerships with business and institutions.
